ChatBelt routes your prompts to third-party AI providers including OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), and xAI (Grok). When you submit a prompt, it is transmitted to the selected AI providers for processing. Each provider has its own privacy policy and data handling practices.

We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of each AI provider to understand how they process your data. We do not control and are not responsible for the data practices of these third-party providers.

4. API Keys

If you provide your own API keys ("BYO Keys") for third-party AI services, these keys are encrypted at rest and used solely to authenticate requests on your behalf. We do not share your API keys with any party other than the respective AI provider. When using BYO Keys, your prompts are sent directly to the provider and are subject to that provider's data policies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Prompt and response data is processed transiently and is not stored on our servers beyond the duration of the active session, unless you explicitly choose to save conversations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL
• Encryption of sensitive data at rest, including API keys and passwords
• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
• Access controls and authentication mechanisms
